'Three gym sessions a week was all it took!'
'Before joining one2one Fitness I had quite a sedentary lifestyle. I was always so tired from work, running around after the kids, and generally not having much time for myself. How would I ever have time for exercise?! Then one day, I came along to a spinnig class at one2one with a friend. It was torture! But afterwards, although I was exhausted, I felt good - like I knew I was capable of getting through a tough class, and also feeling that it was something I could give even more to. Now, I come to the gym three times a week including one spinning class which I know absolutely love! My body has changed significantly and I've discovered muscles I never knew I had! I have lost weight, and my overall health has dramatically improved. I'm not tired like before and feel full of energy every day. Plus, the time in the gym gives me valuable time for myself and I have made some great friends along the way, not least of all in the staff at the gym who have been with me and helped and supported me every single way!'

'Training at one2one Fitness got me through my 10k race!'
'When I registered to run a 10k race for charity, inside I seriously doubted if I could do it. I could barely run a mile without stopping and it felt like a bit of a whim to have signed up. But I turned to the team at one2one Fitness for help, as I was determined to give it a go and raise valuable funding for a charity very close to my heart. Jan took the time to really understand what I wanted to achieve, and the timescale I had to do it in, and designed me a training programme that would get me to my goal. At first, I didn't think I could do it, but the team at one2one was there every step of the way! My goal had been to run the race in less than an hour, and I came in at 59:48 seconds! I couldn't have been more pleased and I raised lots of money for charity. Now I'm preparing to tackle a marathon and the one2one Fitness team are helping me get there. I couldn't have done it without them.'

'I didn't think at my age, exercise would work for me, but it did!'
'I'm what I like to decribe as the 'fun side of 60', and exercise has never really been 'my thing.' I have had some health troubles over the past few years including problems relating to high cholesterol and high blood pressure, and my GP advised me to try some gentle exercise as it woudl help. I just couldn't get motivated on my own - it's hard after 60 years to change your ways and also to know what you need to do to get results, so I turned to one2one for help. Jan and Mark designed me a programme of exercise that set me achievable goals and the entire team took the time to help me at every session. I began going to the gym three or four times a week and the staff were always welcoming and most importantly of all, totally encouraging and they never let me lose sight of my goals. My GP was thrilled when my health dramatically improved and for the first time in years my blood pressure has returned to normal levels. I have the gym to thank for that and it's now a big part of my life - I wouldn't be without it!'
