FAQs

Joining a new gym can be a daunting experience, and many new members have questions when they join. We've answered a few of the most common questions below.

Q. What membership options are available at one2one Fitness?
A. We cater for single memberships, joint memberships and off-peak memberships within the main gym, and single 'anytime' memberships for our ladies-only fitness centre, Fitness Xpress. Contact us directly for prices and more information.

Q. Can I use the gym if I am not a member?
A. Yes, absolutely. You can use our main gym or attend any of our exercise classes or courses without being a member, and simply pay on entry each visit. The only area of the gym not open to 'Pay-as-you-go' (PAYG) customers is our specialised ladies-only circuit suite, Fitness Xpress, which is strictly for members of Fitness Xpress only. As with all our gym users, PAYG visitors will need to have a gym induction on their first visit to the gym.

Q. What happens when I join?
A. We are here to help you achieve your fitness goals, but before we you can begin your new exercise and fitness regime, you are required to have a full gym induction to ensure safe and effective use of the gym equipment and facilities. This is to protect your Health and Safety and is approximately an hour long session that tells you everything you need to know in order to use our gym equipment safely and appropriately. Following your induction, your gym instructor will, if you so wish, design a programme specifically to meet your personal health and fitness goals.

Q. Do I still need a Gym Induction if I only want to use the gym as a 'Pay-as-you-go' customer?
A. Yes. Anyone that wants to use one2one Fitness, as with any gym, must first take part in a gym induction with one of our qualified gym instructors. The induction is approximately an hour long session that tells you everything you need to know in order to use our gym equipment safely and appropriately. Following your induction, your gym instructor will, if you so wish, design a programme specifically to meet your personal health and fitness goals. The instructor will also advise you on how often they will review your personal programme.
